Nauplia, Hauptstadt der Präfektur Argo-
lis und erste Hauptstadt Griechenlands,
ist eine malerische Stadt mit bedeutender
Geschichte und einer tief verwurzelten, kul-
turellen Traditionen. Etwa 19.000 Men-
schen leben in der am Fuß der beiden Bur-
gen Palamidi und Akronauplia gelegenen
Stadt, deren Besucherzahlen Jahr für Jahr
ansteigen.
Nauplia vereinigt in sich Bilder, die jeden
Besucher bezaubern. Die wichtigste Ein-
nahmequelle ist natürlich der Tourismus, ist
Nauplia doch das ganze Jahr über ein beli-

δύο φρουρίων, του Παλαμηδίου και της
Ακροναυπλίας, αριθμεί σήμερα περίπου
19.000 κατοίκους και παρουσιάζει διαρκώς
αυξανόμενη τουριστική ανάπτυξη. Το
Ναύπλιο συνδυάζει ένα σύνολο εικόνων,
που γοητεύουν τους επισκέπτες. Κύρια
πηγή εσόδων είναι ο τουρισμός, καθώς
αποτελεί σημαντικό προορισμό για όλες
τις εποχές του χρόνου.

Ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να φτάσει στο
Ναύπλιο, που απέχει 144 χλμ από
την Αθήνα, οδικώς, ακολουθώντας την
εθνική οδό Αθηνών-Τριπόλεως, όπου θα
συναντήσει τη σχετική σήμανση για ΄Αργος-
Ναύπλιο. Επιπλέον, το ΚΤΕΛ Ναυπλίου
(27520.27323) έχει καθημερινά πολύ
τακτικά δρομολόγια που συνδέουν την
πόλη τόσο με την Αθήνα (210.51.34.588),
όσο και με τις άλλες περιοχές της Αργολίδας.
Nafplio is only about 144 km
from Athens and easily accessible
by car via the National Highway
(Ethniki Odos) Athens-Tripoli, and
by following the signs Argos-Naf-
plio. Moreover, the KTEL buses
(27520.27323) has regular daily
routes connecting the city both with
Athens (210.51.34.588), and with
other regions of Argolida.
Nur etwa 144 km von der Hauptstadt ent-
fernt, ist Nauplia bequem über die nationale
Autobahn (Ethniki Odos) Athen-Tripolis mit
dem Auto erreichbar, die Strecke Argos-Nau-
plia ist gut ausgeschildert. Doch auch Busse
der KTEL (KΤΕΛ, Tel. 27520-27323)
fahren mehrmals am Tag, und verbinden
Stadt nicht nur mit Athen, sondern auch mit
allen anderen Gebieten der Argolis.
