Zur Einführung
Mykene ist heute ein Dorf, das etwa 450 Menschen
bewohnen. Die Einwohner der im Südosten der Argolis lieg-
enden Ortschaft bewirtschaften wie ehedem die Erde ihrer
Vorväter, doch da der weltweit bekannte Ort Jahr für Jahr
tausende von Besuchern anzieht, sind sie auch mit tourist-
ischen Unternehmen beschäftigt.
Οι Μυκήνες σήμερα είναι ένα μικρό χωριό περίπου
450 κατοίκων. Βρίσκεται στο ΒΑ μυχό της
πεδιάδας της Αργολίδας. Οι κάτοικοί του καλλιεργούν
τη γη των προγόνων τους, υποδέχονται και παρέχουν
υπηρεσίες στους χιλιάδες τουρίστες του χωριού, που
είναι ένας από τους σπουδαιότερους αρχαιολογικούς
χώρους, παγκόσμια γνωστός.
The Mycenae of today is but a small village of about 450
inhabitants, on the northeast of the Argolida valley. The vil-
lagers today are occupied in cultivating their ancestors’ land and
offering their services to the thousands of tourists visiting the area
every day. It is famous worldwide as one of the most important
archaeological sites.
Ακολουθώντας οδικώς την εθνική Οδό Αθηνών-Τρίπολης
θα συναντήσετε τη σχετική σήμανση προς Άργος - Ναύπλιο
και λίγο πριν φτάσετε στο Ναύπλιο, ακολουθείτε τη σήμανση
προς Μυκήνες. Επιπλέον εκτελούνται δρομολόγια ΚΤΕΛ από
την Αθήνα (210.51.34.588).
Mycenae is about 150 km from Athens. You may take the
Athens-Tripoli highway and follow the sign to Argos-Nafplio.
Just before Nafplio, follow the sign to Mycenae. There are also
frequent buses from Athens (KTEL tel. no: 210.51.34.588)
Mykene ist zirka 150 km von Athen entfernt, der schnellste
Weg dorthin ist die Autobahn Athen – Tripolis. Zunächst fährt
man Richtung Argos – Nauplia, dann ist Mykene selbst ausgeschil-
dert. Es existiert auch eine regelmäßige Busverbindung der KTEL
(griech.: ΚΤΕΛ) von Athen aus
(Tel.: 210 – 51 34 588).
