It is housed in the Economou traditional stone mansion and constitutes an integral part of modern history; it was in this neoclassic building that the Third National Assembly began its sittings in 1827. In its front yard you can find the statues of Mitsa brothers, leaders of the Ermioni revolutionists. Very close to the museum is an old school from Kapodistria’s time, also built upon ancient city walls and used today as a hall for cultural events. A bit further, on Miaouli Street, there are remains of early Christian buildings scattered here and there
