People have inhabited it for almost 50 centuries. On one side of the hill is the picturesque harbour, full of fish taverns, an anchorage for the flying dolphins of the Argosaronikos Gulf; on the other side there’s the cosmopolitan Mandrakia, with fishing boats and yachts anchored at its harbor, and an intense night life. The church of Saint Gerasimos, with its unique island look, dominates the top of the hill, having the town of Ermioni lying at its feet and a great sea view all the way to Hydra.
