Ermioni is not only about history, architecture and picturesque beaches. It’s also about entertainment. After you wander around the cobblestone alleys gaping at the azure shutters on white washed houses, admiring the architecture of the old mansions, take a walk downwards to the harbor or to Mandrakia, the liveliest area in town. You will find taverns, ouzeries, cafes, bars and clubs for “wild nights”. You will find picturesque little taverns and traditional coffeehouses (kafeneia) with octopuses stretched out to dry in the sun and fishing nets all around; you may enjoy a glass of wine or ouzo there together with some all fresh seafood snacks. Due to all these the picturesque little fishing town has become a top destination for tourists in the summer.
