The Prefecture of Argolis is known for its ancient history and the famous Byzantine buildings and monuments of Greek orthodoxy. Byzantine and post-Byzantine churches, impressive cathedrals, chapels, monasteries with their remarkable illustration, mosaics, frescoes and icons, witness the adherence to traditions.
In this one-day trip of religious interest we visit beautiful monasteries and churches of historical interest and we learn about their route in time. We meet the monks who welcome us in their monastery and offer traditional local dishes. We admire the breathtaking scenery that surrounds each monastery and we rejoice in the devout and hospitable places, highlighting the rare historical and the cultural past of Greece.
