The Venetian castle found in the region was built around 1714-1717. It’s a place worth visiting for the great view it offers, among other things. In the centre of the village there’s a picturesque traditional lighthouse and the Church of Prophet Elias. There are other beautiful churches in the region, like the church of Panagia Lefka, overlooking the lagoon, the churches of Zoodochos Pege (Life-giving Spring) and Saint Nicholas, protector of fishermen.
The Limnothalassa (lagoon): Somewhere between Drepano and Vivari you may see the renowned Limnothalassa, a natural habitat suitable for the fish reproduction.
