The church of Evangelistria: The relics of Saint Martyr ‘Leonidis’, the local patron, are piously kept there as well as his retinue, consisting of seven women symbolizing struggle and sacrifice in the name of God and Christianity. St. Leonidis is known as the "Great defender of Epidaurus."
