It represents an extension of the National Gallery, and since 2004, it has been located in a beautiful neoclassical building of 1905. The exemplary renovation of the building and the equipments were carried out by the Foundation "Alexander S. Onassis". The main themes of the exhibits are paintings and sculptures from the Greek revolution.
