It’s close to Ermioni if you are heading to Kranidi. It was built on the remains of the temple of Asclepius in the 9th-10th century and it’s quite famous for its hot springs. It offered great services to the local people during the Turkish domination and the War of Independence. Its decoration is impressive, with murals of Cretan style and wonderful Byzantine icons. It also has a marvelous library with quite rare books.
